ACID Number & Exporter Registration Number
Starting from October 2021, the Egyptian authorities have implemented a new system for custom called “Advanced Cargo Information ACI”, Now all importer shall provide an information about all shipment to Egypt such as invoice, packing list, manifest, Bill of loading, 48 hours before the shipping date from the country of loading.
The Shippers is responsible to provide the following data to the carries to be complies with ACI system requirement:
- ACID Number: consist of nineteen digits-number identify the ACI shipment
- Exporter Registration Number: consist of seventeen alphanumeric containing three sections such as : US-02-13958114645

How to submit company to Egypt Exporters Register:
Documents required for registration of the individual exporters:
- Request for registration in Egypt exporters’ register signed by the applicant, or his representative or the legal representative of the person concerned Include data consistent with the data of the commercial registry (original + copy).
- An official copy of the valid commercial registry indicating the type of commercial activity and its starting date and state that the capital is not less than 10 thousand pounds for productive projects or 25 thousand pounds for other projects, the commercial registry should include the activity of export, trade or production.
- Sign the declaration statement of registration in the exporters’ register, including the confirmation of the criminal status; the declaration shall be signed by applicant personally in front of the responsible person or approving the signature authenticity from the bank.
- A copy of the official identity document.
- A certificate of export practicing for the person responsible for export and a copy of the identity document.
- If the commercial registry includes an authorized agent, all documents shall be completed as the documents required of the concerned person.
- The fees and hallmarks to be paid to the General organization for Export and Import Control and the value of the fees set for registration shall be fifty pounds (50 EGP).
- Cards are delivered on the same day that the fees are paid to GOEIC.
- It’s necessary for submitting your company to Egypt Exporter’s to have your tax registration number.
Documents for registering limited or partnership companies based on their types:
- Request for registration in Egypt exporters’ register signed by the responsible manager who has the rights to sign on behalf of the company or from his agent or legal representative, including data consistent with the commercial registration data (original + copy)
- An official copy from the Commercial registry, state that the fixed capital is in it, not less than 20 thousand pounds for productive projects and 50 thousand pounds for other activities, and export is one of the purposes of establishing the company.
- declaration statement of registration in the exporters’ register, including the approval of the criminal status from all partners, shareholders, the managers and those who have the rights to manage and sign on behalf of the company, signed by them personally in front of the employee in charge of administration or approving the authenticity of their signature from the bank.
- A copy of the official identity document for everyone mentioned in the commercial register.
- A statement specifying who is responsible for the export.
- A certificate of export practicing for the person responsible for export and a copy of the official identity document.
- The fees, hallmarks, and expenses determined are paid to General organization for Export and Import Control or to a governmental postal transfer in the name of the GOEIC or by a bank check, whose value is 50 pounds (fifty pounds).
- Cards are delivered on the day of payment of the storage fees.
- Tax registration number.
Documents to register joint-stock companies with limited liability established in accordance with Law No. 159 of 1981:
- Requesting registration in Egypt exporters’ register signed by the person who has the right to sign on behalf of the company, his agent or his legal representative includes data consistent with the data of the commercial registry (original + copy).
- A copy of the valid commercial registry, including the type of activity, the capital, and those whom has the rights for managing and signature; export should be one of the company activities and the capital must not be less than 20,000 thousand Egyptian pounds for productive projects and 50,000 thousand Egyptian pounds for other activities.
- A statement specifying who is responsible for the export.
- Official’s certificate of practicing the exporting activities and a copy of his ID.
- A copy of the official identity document for the chairman, managing director, and whoever has the right to sign on behalf of the company for joint stock companies, and whose names are mentioned in the commercial registry for companies with limited liability.
- declaration statement of registration in Egypt exporters’ register, including the approval of the criminal status signed by the chairman, or the managing director and who has the right to sign on behalf of the company in the case of joint stock companies, and for all the managers and those who have the right to sign on behalf of the company in the case of limited liability companies in the front of the concerned employee or certified authenticity of his signature from the bank.
- The fees, hallmarks, and expenses decided to be paid in the GOEIC or by governmental postal money transfer in the name of the general organization for exports and imports control or by a bank check, the value of which is 50 pounds (fifty Egyptian pounds).
- Cards are delivered on the same day that the fees are paid to GOEIC.
- Tax registration number.
Conditions for registering public bodies, public sector companies and holding companies in the register of exporters:
- Requesting registration in the exporters’ register according to the form prescribed by GOEIC, which includes all data about the company or the authority, this is signed by the head of the entity or the legal representative of the company (and the application data must be consistent with the Commercial registry (original + photo).
- A valid commercial register indicating who has the right to manage and sign on behalf of the company, and type of company activity, and export should be one of the company activities.
- A copy of the The Egyptian gazette newspaper “Al Waqee Al Masria” about the establishment of the commission or the decisions that inform its establishment
- The document indicating export activity for public bodies
- Pay the fees and expenses prescribed by the GOEIC, amounting to fifty pounds (50 EGP), as well as the required stamps.
- Complete the declaration of registration in the exporters’ register signed by those who have the right to sign.
- A copy of the identity document for the chairman of the board, the managing director, and the person who has the right to sign on behalf of the facility.
- A statement specifying who is responsible for export and who has the right to manage and sign on behalf of the legal entity of the bodies only.
- An export practice certificate for the person responsible for export and a copy of the identity document.
- Cards are delivered on the same day as payment in GOEIC.
- Tax registration number, if any.
