Saber is an online system published by Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), it is mandatory for registration of all shipments in this system to access the Saudi market, Since January 2019, the new system replacing the old systems known as CoC, it is consider is an application of Saudi Product Safety Program “saleem”
this platform will allow all importer and trader to register their good and issue saber certificate
These regulated products are subjected to the Saudi technical regulations issued by SASO like EU regulation, in this case, the products should be evaluated by a 3rd party notified body to check their conformance, this includes certificate conformity or SASO Mark or G-Mark or SASO IECEE.
These non-regulated products are not subjected to any of the Saudi technical regulations, in this case, the supplier should register in saber for a self-declaration and issue a shipment certificate only.
All consumer goods approved by SASO are applicable to register at the new system and this include (home appliances, vehicle spare parts, lighting & led products, textiles …etc

Who are responsible for registration importer or exporter?
The registration process must be done through the importer’s saber account, but both importer or exporter can start the process based on their agreement.
How much time it takes to issue saber certificate?
Normally if all technical documents are ready, it will take 48 hours.
We have a large number of products, will they all be registered? What is the cost?
