- Understanding SASO requirements applied to your products Before apply SASO Certificate in Saudi Arabia, identify the specific standards and regulations applicable to your product. By selecting the convenient HS code and then going to saber platform and custom tariff and checking if the product is regulated or non-regulated to any of SASO technical regulations
- Is the HS code referring to regulated products so you will check the further requirements need for this product to issue the PCOC
- If the HS code refers to non-regulated products, you will be able to issue the self-declaration and then the shipment certificates
Register on the Saber Platform (Apply SASO Certificate in Saudi Arabia)
- ensure that your entity has a saber account, if you don’t have, please create a new saber account linked to your organization Commercial registration number
- add new product and fill in the required information such as:
- Product name
- Model name
- Brand
- Manufacturer name
- Manufacturer address
- Attach product photos

Submit a new request for SASO Certificate in Saudi Arabia
- Submit a new request for PCOC
- Choose the product that you need to issue SASO Certificate for it
- Review all product details
- Add models’ number
- Choose one of SASO approved certification body
- Submit your request
- Pay saber fees for product certificate
- Receiving the final copy of your Product certification
Apply for the Shipment Certificate of Conformity (SCoC)
Before shipping your products to Saudi Arabia:
- Log in to Saber and submit a request for the SCoC.
- Provide the shipment details, such as product quantities, total amount of the invoice …etc and upload the commercial invoice and packing list.
- Pay the saber bill for the SCoC on the Saber platform.
Customs Clearance of your shipment
After issuance of shipment certificate, submit your SCOC to Fasah platform & Saudi Customs authorities along with the other required shipping documents (e.g., bill of lading, invoice, packing list, country of origin). The SASO certification ensures your goods meet local standards and can enter the Saudi market
